And almost died of aplastic anemia. I didn’t qualify for disability even though my docto wouldn’t let me work for 4 months. I was turned down for medicow and now have 250,000 woth of hospital bills. I am going to have to file bankruptcy. Does it make anyone else mad that an honest Americn citizen like me goes without help when illegals are getting health insurance and social security checks are being sent to Mexicans in Mexico every month who have worked in US?

I am getting sick just reading about your ordeal.I just can’t believe what this country is coming to.You definitely should appeal medicow’s decision.
i honestly understand your frustration, but it appears to me that you are putting this on the wrong group…
if someone, anyone…has earned an honest living and put away funds for their future through social security, and or medical health care…they should be able to access it…regardless of their nationality.
the laws of this country and the lack of care of the politicians who would rather fund senseless wars and pay billions of dollars to companies like halliburton…which is in turn dropping tons of dollars in the pockets of those who are ruling the country…are a slap in the face…
they will rather use these funds which could clearly provide not only medical care, but also financial assistance for someone like yourself…i’m afraid of getting sick again…i’m not covered through my job…i can’t get free or low cost medical care because surprisingly…i either make too much for free, and too little to pay out of pocket…
there are many of us living the same reality…but in all honestly, i can’t blame it on someone who migrated and busted their @$$ working legally for what they now have…

I had a recent situation that was similar. I am a Veteran who served during war time. Last year, due to a number of reasons, I had a brief time where I needed help to keep my family from homelessness. NOT ONE government agency would lift a finger to help my family. Yet, illegals living just down the street from me were sucking up the SS dollars (even though they had jobs), living three families to a house (which there is a city ordinance against) and receiving food stamps (when I couldn’t qualify even though I was not working at the time)!
Yes, I am sick of it. Fortunately, my family made it through our hard time and we are now doing well. So if I can do it without any assistance, why can’t illegals do it?
so sorry to hear such sad news.. but hears another hardship for all other citizens to try and rectify.. my boss today has stated that all crew members will stop wearing name tags so no outsiders can see an hispanic name and call INS or ICE.. I dont want to turn in my company because that would mean that I would loose my job when the law comes nocking on our doors but I just wish that they would straighten up and do the right thing and the legal thing instead of hiding the illegals and avoiding the realization of hiring legals.. I know for a fact that there are illegals in the store that I work in plus one other store because I worked there also and some have the courage to say they are illegal…
Yes, I feel mad that you have so much trouble with medical and insurance. Look in your local phone book for a “community clinic”. You will get the dirty looks from the illegals in there but hold your head high and don’t let them get to you. You deserve health care over them, they are not here legally and have NO RIGHT to ANY health care whatsoever.
I feel bad for you and the fact that you don’t have medical coverage during this time of sickness, however, if you think that illegals somehow get full insurance then you are misinformed.
my plan is to one day retire and buy my retirement house in Mexico where I can collect the social security that I have earned working in this country all my life and having the luxury of being a dual citizen of Mexico and USA.
you should be more upset at the politicians who piss away billions and billion of dollars to supposedly protect our freedoms instead of provide descent health care for people like you who deserve it!!!!!!
