My child (12 with Asp) receives PT/sensory, Sp, social skills, pragmatics, counseling and attends classes in drama. She also receives support for hearing issues and organizational strategies.
But she’s doing great! She has learned to ask,”please tell me what you WANT me to do, so I can do it.” She can’t always figure out expectations when they only tell her what NOT to do.
I taught children with Aspergers & Autism. We used the TEACCH program.http://www.teacch.com/
