After high school i want to be a special education teacher and work with autistic kids. A lot of people in my school make fun of kids in the special education classes and I’m sick of it. I think it is mostly because they do not understand. I this problem can be solved and someone needs to do something, and start somewhere. I wonder if there is therapy available for adults on the Autism spectrum? I don’t date because of the very fact that I am not acclimated to the Human Touch. This means that I can get sensory overload on what other people would regard as basic physical affection. Are there reliable therapies available, to let Autistic adults join the dating world in a functional fashion?

I listen in outside the door at my son’s school and I hear him being told,you are not paying attention over and over again. If he forgets to pick up his folder the teacher said did you forget your folder in a strong tone ,not very nice sounding. He tries very hard to please he does not complain but I am the one who does not think this is good. Am I wrong?

Kids around 10-15 it seems i never see older people with austism but I’m not sure and I wanted to know really badly what other people know and think.
