I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma on Friday after a biopsy which was done on my neck over a week ago. I found out yesterday that I need to go through chemo, which entails bone scans, pet scans, placing a port into my chest, lung scans. Its all very overwhelming. I am nervous about loosing my hair too. Can anyone give me some details about the process and how long it may take? Thank you.

Children’s interstitial lung disease (chILD) is a term used to describe a group of rare diseases in infants and children. If chILD is suggested, efforts should be made to determine what type of chILD the child might have as different types of chILD have different long term issues that can be serious. This will require many tests. One thing is clear; chILD in infants and young children is different than in adults. A pediatric pulmonary doctor with expertise in chILD should be consulted.
An infant or child may have chILD if he or she has at least 3 of the following categories of problems without a known cause. Infants can have chILD from birth that rapidly progresses but older infants and children have these problems persistently for months.
1. Symptoms of abnormal breathing (cough, fast breathing, retractions, exercise intolerance)
2. Evidence for problems with oxygen (abnormal oxygen at rest, night or with exercise)
3. Abnormal chest Xrays
4. Presence of abnormal sounds

What Is The Reason For A A Lot Of Young Kids Being Diagnosed With Autism?
I think its because of the all the druggies in the 60s and 70s them having kids and because of all the drugs in their system its causing their kids to have autism. Kids around 10-15 it seems i never see older people with austism but I’m not sure and I wanted to know really badly what other people know and think.

My Husband has been diagnosed with chronic urticaria angie-o-adeema(sorry spelling) basically his mast cells r breaking down, and he is allergic to a lot of things including his own system, his mother told me he was classed as a “slow child”, didn’t utter a word till he was 3….now im adding things up here…and what i see is a form of autism….what do u think?

In Women Do All Cancers Start From Breast Cancer?
I understand that theres a high chance in survival if you get reast cancer and its treated in time. But for those that its gone further and have cancer in other parts of the body, did they have breast cancer originally but didnt catch it in time?
A friend of the family died recently and had been fighting against cancer for years! She had ovarian cancer when they originally found it and I thought thats where it started but my mum said no she would have had breast cancer first, is that right? She also had it in her stomach and had a operation to remove it but was also in the bowel and that part was left. Im sure she had it in other places to, I dont remeber her saying she had breast cancer.
Please dont answer this if you really dont know and guessing.

What Are The Odds Of Stems Cells Curing Non-hodgkins Lymphoma?
My cousin is 40 and has non-hodgkins lymphoma. The grown-ups in my life don’t like to keep me informed and refuse to answer my questions about this kind of stuff. He went to another city (we live in a rural community) about 5 hours away for 3 months! What is going on, and what are the odds he will make it out alive?
And I think it’s the lymphnodes in his liver / intestine area.

How Long Could Be The Chemotherapy For A Stage 2a Node Negative Breast Cancer?
Hi,
Our doctor mentioned that chemotherapy could last for 6 months for young women (under 35) even at a stage 2a node negative grade 3 breast cancer.
I heard that some young people in similar situation get away with 2-3 months.
6 months, Isn’t it too long?
