My little 3 year old cousin ,Faith, is very sick. She has Aplastic Anemia. This is where the bone marrow is being destroyed in her body.
I wanted to send her Mom a poem to encourage her but when I try no words come to me. All that comes to me is sadness and tears. The family is very Christian and every one is praying. I want to give Faith and her Mom something more.

My sister has a bad case of Anemia that she needs iron shots. Iron pills aren’t enough to build up the iron level and hemoglobin in her blood. That’s how bad it is. I know that Aplastic and Sickel Cell are life-threatening. The Iron Deficiency Anemia I know causes fatigue, listlessness, pallor, shortness of breath, nausea, and lightheadedness. I think it can either cause congestive heart failure or cardiac arrest if not treated. Do you know if it can become really dangerous?
My wife has (aplastic anemia) and has received the treatment of (horse blood) extract and now is maintaining blood and platelet production. She is taking 200mg of Neoral cyclosporin per day. Does anyone know long term effects?

bone marrow thinks that the body doesn’t have enough red blood cells, so it will continue to produce more and more, that will cause hypertrophy of the bone marrow
This is for research for my novel, when my FMC has aplastic anemia and needs to take it. At the website I found, it didn’t state how many times do you need to take it and have it administered by doctor or nurse? Any health professionals willing to answer that question for me?
It is an autosomal recessive disorder. It occurs equally in males and females, and found in all ethnic groups; it can affect all systems of the body, and many patients eventually develop acute myelogenous leukemia at an early age; they also develop a variety of other head, neck, gynecological and or gastrointestinal cancers; the patient can be cured of the FA blood problem by having a successful bone marrow transplant, but must still have regular examinations to watch for signs of cancer. A couple (both with FA) who have already had one child with FA decide that they would like to have another child.

In most cases, doctors do not know the cause of aplastic anemia. In about 20% of patients, the disease develops from an inherited disorder, such as Fanconi anemia. Aplastic anemia may also be caused by high doses of radiation or certain chemicals or viruses. There is evidence that in many people aplastic anemia is an autoimmune disease. This means that the body’s immune system is reacting against itself. The immune system attacks the bone marrow and stops it from making enough blood cells.
Is it the doctor saying that the cause is exhaust gases, or you? I would think its very unusual for a doctor to make this comment as in most cases there is no way of telling!;
Depends on the cause…if it is caused by something the person has been exposed to..like a drug that is causing it, usually just removing the cause will straighten it out in time.
is it similar? i am 13 and is it a hard recovery?
