I’ve known a lot of people to get pink streaks in their hair to promote breast cancer awareness and was curious to know if anyone has heard of supporters of any other cause doing anything similar to this to raise awareness about their cause?

What Is Up With My Awareness And Reaction Time? Im Gonna Hurt Myself?
Over the last year or so I have had times were Im doing stuff and I just cant realize im doing it or I am zoned out. I used to race dirtibikes, got on 1 today and about killed myself, it didnt really set in mentally or physically that i was even on it??? I am afraid with just everyday life tasks that I may get hurt. I guess you can say I have little awareness of what im doing and am clumsy and for some reason seems like I am dumber, like drastically. Please someone has to have an idea, I have seen 2 Docs and nothing is jumping out at them, exept depression but I believe it all has a cause, and of course when I dont feel comfortable doing everyday things Im not gonna feel great.

Would You Walk 1,400km To Raise Awareness & Pay Tribute To A Cause Close To Your Heart?
It sad that a peace loving people such as the Tibetians suffer so much to just lead the life they want to lead according to their own customs, traditions & culture.
WASHINGTON: A nephew of the Dalai Lama, has walked more than 1,400 km, criss crossing several American States from Indiana to New York to raise awareness about the Tibet’s issue and pay tribute to all those who have fought for their country’s independence.
The “Walk for Tibet” by Jigme Norbu, began from the Indianapolis City in Indiana on March 10, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Tibetan’s uprising, concluded with a rally led by him before Chinese Consulate in New York City.
Norbu is son of late Takster Rinpoche, who fought for complete independence of Tibet until he breathed his last on September 5 last year.
Every day he walked about 40 km; even as towards the end of his long march his body almost gave up with large blisters having formed on his feet and missing nails.
“My pain is nothing compared to what my brothers and sisters have suffered in Tibet, under Chinese oppression that has now lasted for over six decades,” Norbu was quoted as saying to Phayul, a Tibetan website.
Dalai Lama’s nephew said when he walked, he thought of Tibetans, how they were suffering and what they have been through.
“Our supporters were Americans, people who live in communities that gave me water, food, housing, money,” Norbu said.

What Is The Best Organization To Do A Breast Cancer Awareness Walk For?
There are a lot of breast cancer and other awareness type of walks this year and I’d like to participate in some, but I’m not sure which organizations use the money that I raise most effectively. Any opinions? I was thinking about doing the 3-day or maybe something earlier.
Slogan And Ideas For Illegal Downloads (software Piracy) Awareness Program?
I’m doing a program in my university for illegal downloads awareness where I’ll address issues such as software piracy, music and movies.
I’m going to set up a booth on campus to promote my program and I need a slogan that is simple, clear and catchy.
I also need ideas for what my booth should include. I will display a banner/poster and will distribute a brochure. Any ideas what would attract people and help promote my cause?
The First Glimmer Of Self Awareness: Enough For A Fuzzy Quantum Universe To Collapse Into Its Present State?
There is a thought now-a-days, which avows, that to exist in its present state, the universe requires a self aware observer to bring it to its present form. The observance would cause the universe to “collapse” from a state of many, many quantum probabilities (quantum fuzziness) into the condition, or state, at which we all observe it now. Did this “collapse” happen at the very first glimmer of self awareness? What creature or thing developed that glimmer? Does an amoeba have self awareness? Would that have been enough? Or would it take a much higher intelligence – human perhaps? Or, and I hate to bring this up, would it require an outside observer?
These are not my ideas or necessarily my beliefs, just things that I’ve read.
