I’m a 24 year old, 5’10″ male and I weigh 150 lbs. For most of my life I’ve had the occasional head rush (one every one to two months) when rising from a siting or lying position. Over the past few years the frequency has increased and now I have one to three head rushes a day. Over the course of a week one or two of the head rushes will be severe resulting in these symptoms in order of onset; increased pressure in my head, stars in my vision, vision loss, loss of motor control (I collapse to the ground and gently shake), and loss of awareness. Once I lose motor control I become unresponsive. These “head rushes” last about fifteen to thirty seconds (so I’ve been told). The less severe episodes go through all the symptoms (pressure, stars and vision loss) except I maintain some motor control (I only stumble or fall down into a sitting or squatting position) and some awareness (I think I can still hear people but I can’t talk or move too well). In the past two months I’ve started to have some of these head rushes occur while sitting with no plans or attempts to stand up. In one case I fell out of the chair I was sitting in. This has made me question Orthostatic hypotension as a self diagnosis.
Unfortunately I don’t have health insurance and I can’t afford lots of tests. If anyone has any idea what may be causing these episodes or how detrimental they may be (if it’s nothing serious I’ll just put up with it) I’d appreciate the input.

What Do You Think Is The Cause Of The Rise Of People With Autism?
As an unbiased asker, I just want to know your opinions. A person I know said that in 1995 was when the increase in autism started. And that researchers noticed that the people who had autism began to show signs of it after their vaccines. I don’t know for sure, but are the vaccines the cause of it? Did doctors do something to the vaccines to change their substance? Or is it something else? What do you think?
Would You Walk 1,400km To Raise Awareness & Pay Tribute To A Cause Close To Your Heart?
It sad that a peace loving people such as the Tibetians suffer so much to just lead the life they want to lead according to their own customs, traditions & culture.
WASHINGTON: A nephew of the Dalai Lama, has walked more than 1,400 km, criss crossing several American States from Indiana to New York to raise awareness about the Tibet’s issue and pay tribute to all those who have fought for their country’s independence.
The “Walk for Tibet” by Jigme Norbu, began from the Indianapolis City in Indiana on March 10, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Tibetan’s uprising, concluded with a rally led by him before Chinese Consulate in New York City.
Norbu is son of late Takster Rinpoche, who fought for complete independence of Tibet until he breathed his last on September 5 last year.
Every day he walked about 40 km; even as towards the end of his long march his body almost gave up with large blisters having formed on his feet and missing nails.
“My pain is nothing compared to what my brothers and sisters have suffered in Tibet, under Chinese oppression that has now lasted for over six decades,” Norbu was quoted as saying to Phayul, a Tibetan website.
Dalai Lama’s nephew said when he walked, he thought of Tibetans, how they were suffering and what they have been through.
“Our supporters were Americans, people who live in communities that gave me water, food, housing, money,” Norbu said.

Can Tetrodotoxin Cause Total Muscular Paralysis/failure Without Causing Brain Death?
I’m doing a report on marine life for AP Biology and I was wondering if tetrodotoxin can cause a state of unconscious/subconscious awareness that mimics death. Puffer fish, Porcupine fish, Ocean Sunfish, and Tigerfish carry the toxin, so maybe this may not be so crazy?
I Contracted Aplastic Anemia Last March And The Possible Cause Was Exhaust Gases. Has Anyone Else Got This.?
In most cases, doctors do not know the cause of aplastic anemia. In about 20% of patients, the disease develops from an inherited disorder, such as Fanconi anemia. Aplastic anemia may also be caused by high doses of radiation or certain chemicals or viruses. There is evidence that in many people aplastic anemia is an autoimmune disease. This means that the body’s immune system is reacting against itself. The immune system attacks the bone marrow and stops it from making enough blood cells.
Is it the doctor saying that the cause is exhaust gases, or you? I would think its very unusual for a doctor to make this comment as in most cases there is no way of telling!;
Can An Antiepileptic Medication Cause Malformation Or Autism In A 22 Weeks Pregnancy?
My daughter has 22 weeks of pregnancy and she is having seizures. The Doctor said that she needs to start medications as soon as possible. She had epilepsy and she is been out of medications for about 7 years. We are worry because we heard that this can cause malformation or autism in the baby. Is that possible if she has 22 weeks already?
Aplastic Anaemia; Can Anyone Suggest What Could Cause This Disease Other Then Hereditary Causes?
A friend of mine has come down with this illnes quite unexpectedly. She semed to have had good health; played netball and had a pretty busy work shedule – nothing seemed to have been wrong with her. Could dieting be a possible a cause?
If You Could Raise Awareness For One Cause, What Would It Be?
Many actually. Cancer Diabetes Aids & like Sora mentioned Child Sexual Abuse.
Has Any One Had A 100% Answer About Their Cause Of Aplastic Anemia?
I was diagnosised with AA two years ago. I see a AA specialist at M.D. Anderson hospital in Houston. Since I worked for a sheriff’s office and routinely worked around a Shell refinery she initially believed that it was probably exposure to benzine. Over the course of the last two years and after studying her patients, she remarked at my last check up that she strongly suspects the underlying cause is viral.
Her reasoning was that almost 100% of her patients, despite improved blood counts in all areas, constantly complain of flu like fatique. That is the case for me. Despite having decent red blood cell counts, I always feel like I am coming down with the flu.
Help! How Do You Attract Attention About A Great Cause That Involves Charity?
A group of Smallville fans (Kristin Kreuk and Clark and Lana fans) has raised a total of $4,500 in 5 days and as of now it’s still increasing. We’re donating to 4 charities on their behalf: The Christopher Reeve Foundation, BC Children’s Hospital, Red Cross and Greenpeace.
This project is sincere, heartfelt and supports several good causes. It has raised awareness about the value of giving and gotten people who have never donated to charity to do so.
But we lack the press coverage we need to let people know, more importantly the people involved with the show know about the cause. I’ve emailed every online news site I know and no response.
Can anyone help me out? Do you know someone I can contact who will take a closer look at this? Please email me if you wish to remain anonymous.
I don’t know where else to ask, it’ll be ashame if no one finds out about this cause. Thank you so much.
Why Is Breast Cancer The Cause Du Jour For Women When Heart Disease Kills Many, Many More?
You know, the pink ribbons and such, Baseball players wearing pink for a day and looking ridiculous, etc. Shouldn’t women be wearing different color ribbons and marching for a cure for heart disease, since it kills far, far more women than breast cancer does? It can’t possibly be that heart disease is suffered by both women and men that heart disease doesn’t get its due, can it?
