I am a15 years old female and I have recently discovered a small lump in my left breast ( about the size and shape of a M&M). I’m especially concerned about it because my grandmother lost her breast to cancer, which means it is in my genes. Is is possible for someone so young like me to develop breast cancer ? Is there certain symptoms (occasional pain in the location, drowsey… etc)…
Looking for statistics regarding women who are in high risk to have breast cancer in the US.
My best friend, she’s 13, she’s told me she’s afraid of having breast cancer because she has a little by her nipple. She’s freaking out and she doesn’t want to tell her mom, but i keep telling her to tell her mom. She doesn’t know if its breast cancer or at least a symptom of breast cancer. Can someone help me explain to her? I have no idea if it is or not. Please & Thank you so much!
I am 19 yrs old and a lump was recently found in my breast. I had an ultrasound and found that it was a solid mass. Then I had biopsy and today I met with the surgeon again and he said it looks like fibroadenoma and favors it but there are atypical “peculiar” cells also in the sample. He said it needs to be removed. I was just wondering what the chances are of it being cancer?
Hello, I was wondering, what are the chances of having a child with autism are if a person has one sibling and one half-sibling with high-functioning autism?
To make it interesting, let’s say I have a cousin with Aspergers’ Syndrome, and my partner has the siblings with autism. Both of us are very healthy, but we’re concerned about having a child with austism and/or aspergers’.
I have DD’s and most the women in my family do as well. But none of them to my knowledge have ever been diagnosed with breast cancer. But doses breast size increase your chances of breast cancer or not?
