HI! As most all of you know October is Breast Cancer Awarness Month. Ozark Leather Co. has recently come out with Breast cancer Awareness ribbons.. now this is not your typical ribbon. It’s about 6in long & made of pink leather with a pink leather loop on the end for hanging. THESE ARE REALLY NICE!!!! These are saddle charms much like the crosses you see many people with. They can be hung from your saddle horn, flank slats , breast collar dees , the tie keepers rearview mirros…etc. Bascially where ever you can think of to hang them. I have ordered a lot b/c 22% of the sales from these ribbons is going straight to the BCA foundation!!!! If any of you are interested in purchasing one of these charms let me know. They will retail for roughly 9.99 while it may seem like a lot is really not, b/c don’t forget 22% (that’s $2.19 exactly) of that goes to the BCA foundations! It’s for a great cause. I am buying one b/c it runs in my family & 2 of my good friends have been affected by it.

People With Hiv & Aids Would You To Be Part Or An Awareness Idea I Have?
I close family friend of mine has HIV. He became HIV+ about 18 yrs ago. He has lived a very good life, But these last few years his light has started to fade, he has become very ill. But even now he is still part of HIV & AIDs awareness.
But these last couple of years you hardly hear anything about aids awareness. I hear more about smoking from those truth group then anything else.
So I have an idea that i need help with. I want to cause awareness in the best way i know how, throw my photography. I would like to take photos of people with HIV & AIDs here in the U.S. of all races, all ages and all sexual orientation, and all stages. I want to say Look at all these different people that suffer from this disease. Not just blacks, or gays but all types of people. I want to give You a voice with out saying a word. I know it its a big project but i’m hoping to get this project out there and once done, into some galleries and hopefully raise some money for HIV & AIDs awareness.
I live in Dallas and that’s where this project will start. Please anyone willing to help or give me info on where i can go to get my project started and/or get some funding

How Easy Do You Think It Would Be To Raise Money To Participate In A Charity Event For Breast Cancer?
I am considering registering for the 3 day walk for breast cancer in San Diego. One of the requirements in order to participate is to raise a minimum of $2200 in pledges or donations. If I can’t raise the money then I’d have to write the check myself or drop out. How easy do you think it would be to raise the money and what suggestions do you have to do it?

What Would Cause My Sense Of Touch, Taste And Sight To Lesson Noticable Over 1-2 Years?
Over the last few years I noticed a loss in all those senses and just an overall sense of awareness loss. I have been told depression and just dont believe it I guess, and it is normaly caused by something health wise. I did not live well for the 2 years and I have been eating and doing the right stuff for 6 months now and hardly any change. I also noticed that I can hardly feel pain, yea it sounds wierd. I know this is a long and complicated subject but Im hoping someone can answer, I need to see another trustable DR also. I seem to think its something with my stomach because I can only eat small amounts and not feel bad, my chest area always seem to have pressure on it and feels bloated? Any ideas and has anyone experience depression and had this happen, of course Im gonna feel depressed when all this is going on. thanks in advance benc
Would You Walk 1,400km To Raise Awareness & Pay Tribute To A Cause Close To Your Heart?
It sad that a peace loving people such as the Tibetians suffer so much to just lead the life they want to lead according to their own customs, traditions & culture.
WASHINGTON: A nephew of the Dalai Lama, has walked more than 1,400 km, criss crossing several American States from Indiana to New York to raise awareness about the Tibet’s issue and pay tribute to all those who have fought for their country’s independence.
The “Walk for Tibet” by Jigme Norbu, began from the Indianapolis City in Indiana on March 10, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Tibetan’s uprising, concluded with a rally led by him before Chinese Consulate in New York City.
Norbu is son of late Takster Rinpoche, who fought for complete independence of Tibet until he breathed his last on September 5 last year.
Every day he walked about 40 km; even as towards the end of his long march his body almost gave up with large blisters having formed on his feet and missing nails.
“My pain is nothing compared to what my brothers and sisters have suffered in Tibet, under Chinese oppression that has now lasted for over six decades,” Norbu was quoted as saying to Phayul, a Tibetan website.
Dalai Lama’s nephew said when he walked, he thought of Tibetans, how they were suffering and what they have been through.
“Our supporters were Americans, people who live in communities that gave me water, food, housing, money,” Norbu said.

Why Would Breast Cancer Be More Important Than Other Cancers?
There is a lot media coverage on breast cancer than any others. Many more organizations gather funds for that cause than any other type of cancer. Why? Why would people divide their efforts and independently search for cures against that specific type of cancer? Wouldn’t it be way more efficient to have a single (possibly international) organization to gather funds for developing a cure against cancer, since it’s the exact same illness in breasts than in intestines and everywhere else?
